Angling & Streamside Experience
Some mountain experiences are about patience, not pace.
THE EXPERIENCE
Some mountain experiences are about patience, not pace.
Spend time beside the Pucknooz stream landscape with a local guide and learn the basics of angling — only when the current season, permits, fish conditions and local rules make the experience appropriate.
01
What the experience includes
02
Who it suits
Good for adults, older children with supervision, slow travellers and people who enjoy patient outdoor activities.
03
How it works
Guests first receive a briefing on the day’s stream conditions, legal rules and equipment. The guide then moves to an approved stretch of water or, if angling is not suitable, offers a streamside nature experience instead.
05
Safety, weather & responsible use
Stream levels can rise after rain and water can be very cold. Guests should not enter fast-flowing water or unfamiliar channels without guide instruction. The experience should be cancelled or shifted if water level, weather or access is unsafe.

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions before you go.
Is trout guaranteed?
No. No wildlife or catch should ever be guaranteed.
Do I need previous experience?
No, if the final product includes beginner instruction.
Can I book if fishing is temporarily unavailable?
A streamside nature / picnic version could still be offered, but that should be clearly sold as a different experience.
