Overview
The character of the journey.
Located in the Lahaul area of Himachal Pradesh, Yunam Peak Expedition is a mighty rising peak amid the Himalayas at an incredible height of 6111m. This peak is one of the several 6000-meter-plus summits in the area around the well-known Baralacha Pass, and it ranks with the likes of Stok Kangri, Kang yatse 1, Dzo Jongo, and many more.
The Yunam trek is a mountaineering enthusiast's fantasy come true since it offers so many opportunities to test their mettle against a wide variety of terrains and situations while making regular use of their gear. From the peak's vantage point, one may take in a breathtaking panorama of the C.B. range and the Mulkilla range. A difficult terrain, including crevasse glaciers, rock falls, and a ridge must be overcome on the way to the peak's top. This hike is intended for seasoned hikers who have hiked on challenging terrain before. An in-depth familiarity with hiking gear is necessary for traversing snow-covered paths and tough terrain.
