Vanvaas sits beside forest trails, streams and two nearby waterfalls. The first is only a couple of minutes away; Crystal Waterfall is reached by an easy forest walk of roughly ten minutes from the property.

Who it suits
Good for couples, solo travellers, families, first-time walkers and guests who want a light nature experience. The walk is not intended as a strenuous hike, but forest paths can be uneven and slippery after rain.

How it works
Meet at Vanvaas or the confirmed Soil Village meeting point. The route begins with the small waterfall near the property before continuing through the forest towards Crystal Waterfall. Guests can pause along the way for photographs and quiet time before returning by the same or a suitable local route.

Safety, weather & responsible use
Waterfall and forest conditions can change quickly after rain. Wet rocks, loose soil, roots and stream edges can be slippery. Guests should avoid climbing on wet rock faces or entering fast-flowing water. The walk should be postponed, shortened or rerouted during heavy rain, storms or unsafe trail conditions.

No. It is a short nature walk.

Only if the trail is safe. Heavy rain can make the rocks and forest path slippery.

No. The experience can also be offered to nearby guests, subject to the final meeting-point and transport plan.
